We learned about this special process today. We prepared a drypoint plate but before printing we put glued paper, which can be any kind of newspaper etc., on top of the inked plate, glued side up. Than we put the dampened paper on it and put this all through the press. As a result the glued paper will stick onto the dampened one, and the motifs on the drypoint will be printed on it.
